Today
Dr Heather Currie on Woman's Hour. Absolutely brilliant! Approx 10 days ago there was a short feature on menopause everything was cut short it was really poor. Today they redressed the balance to some extent.

It appears they are going to have another go at it in a couple of weeks time.

Well done Dr Currie you never let women down - much appreciated

Katy :)

I agree it was excellent and an interesting thing is that tonight in the pub I was fanning myself with a beer mat (as you do) when two women who looked to be in their forties said "Why not try HRT". I explained that I had taken it for some years but due to my age I was advised to come off it they said "Oh you should have listened to Women's Hour today - there was a Dr Currie on there talking about how GP's were not always in the know - you've been fobbed off and need to go back to your GP" We got into a discussion about meno and they had both been amazed to find out about vaginal dryness etc. and were really grateful to Dr Currie for talking about this subject.

Just had a chance to listen to this and so glad that Dr Currie was given a slot on Woman's Hour and put her point of view and current thinking. Great stuff!

Interesting that women in a pub also heard it too Taz!
