Well, tonight I got a packet of minced lamb out of the freezer, put it in the microwave to defrost - 2 sessions with a 10 minute rest in the middle.

I made myself some coffee with milk, and went to put it in the microwave  ::)

So I took the mince out after its first zap and heated the coffee, put the mince back for a 10minute wait, then 3 minute zap.

Went to deal with e-mails and drink coffee.

Bang!  :o

I had put the mince on for a 10 minute full power zap and the packet had popped and the mince was half cooked and liquid was everywhere.  So I took the turntable out thinking I would fry it off quickly to finish the cooking, then put some leeks in that needed using up.  So I heated the pan and put in some olive oil.  Only it was a bit thin and brown  ???  and smelt of .........marsala left over from Christmas.

So I put the hot marsala in a cup and thought about drinking it or putting it in my coffee  :-\

Have fried off the mince with leeks, carrots and garlic and put the marsala back in to see if it helps the mince get over its bad start  :-X  Put some potatoes on the top and it is in the oven.

Hotpot?  :-*

My regular Spanish omelette with chopped courgette, tomatoes, potatoes, ham, spinach and sprinkled with grated cheese. It is a frequent Sunday meal though I do do it on other days too. i have a little homemade coleslaw to finish so I will have that with it.
