I have some cook books from the charity shop too, the latest are from Amazon, the ones for 1p + postage so not breaking the bank.

No lentils Sparkle no, I survived them well last night though DH did not.  My chicken was a success, was with apricots too, smell of curry filled the house but was not too strong and of course all veg good.

Have a good meal out Sparkle, fingers crossed.

edited to say, the home made burgers sounded lovely too.

They were.  DH has always made them by hand, no buying of beef burgers here  ;)

Lamb chops supplied by neighbour's flock (very few food miles involved) and fresh veggies from the garden.

Time will tell Limpy, it had celery, carrots, tomatoes, French beans, chick peas, butter beans and potatoes.

Ok so far but if you see something floating past your window tonight it will probably be me  ;D

Vegetarian again tomorrow....egg and chips  ;D
