There's a nice gizzard waiting for them tonight. Might have had a bit too much skin, she needed to go out at 3am  :( so OH says... I didn't wake up  ;D

Those big curly smoked sausages that Mattesons do, with a carbonara sauce & tagliatelli plus garlic bread....yum yum yum.

Last night DH made chicken gougon-type bits with mash and sprouts.  I threw any left over mash to the birds, blackbird is loving it :-).

Pork loin with roasted veg later.

I had no idea birds would eat mash, never occurred to me! I must try them on it 🙂.

It's fats and sugars.  The 1 thing they shouldn't be given are lumps of fat off joints as this is sticky so the birds are unable to preen feathers.

They will eat cooked rice, fruit cake, sponge cake.  Left over muesli and porridge.
