Nasi goreng for me,prawns & scallops in a coconut and cream sauce for OH

DH did batch cooking again - the slow cooker was on with skirt and veg. for 8-9 hours.  Last night we had it hot with mash and he froze the rest, tonight he had lentil soup with fresh home baked bread and did me a bowl of skirt mix with rice.  Stuffed now

On a meander, I found a skirt when cleaning our wardrobe yesterday.  My Mum was a very good needlewoman, she embroiled a pattern of leaves around the bottom of a dress which won 1st prize at the WI show in the 1960s.  Then I wanted a mini skirt, she told me I would regret it but took the dress from the waist band and made the mini skirt: which I can no longer wear  .  But I have the skirt as a reminder of how clever she was.


As for what's for tea - far too early to decide

Roast dog. Blooming thing woke me up at 3am wanting to go out. OH'S testicles for desert. Apparently he'd got up at 2am when it was squeaking, opened the door for it then put it back in when it didn't go out immediately. Did I tell you I get  when I don't get enough sleep?
