Homemade burger for hubby and chickpea & cashew balls with a tomato & chilli sauce for me

Himself has been cooking all afternoon.   Big pot of: freshly grated horse-radish and mince/ginger/garlic; chopped peppers, salt, black pepper; tin of peas and broad beans added.  Cooked for hours.  Served over a bowl of pasta.  The rest will go into the freezer.

Totally delish New Years cheat meal made by mistake
 
Curried chicken tikka masala puff pastry pie. 
3 x tins chicken in white sauce (Or Lidl do a chicken in curry sauce in a tin Mild or Hot)
+ friend onions/peppers/garlic/mustard seeds
+ Jar of favourite curry sauce

Heat in oven 20 mins
Top with ready roll puff pastry, cook for 30 mins more

Served with new potatoes (boiled)/garlic/onion mix) in oven for 30 mins till crispy

Oh! I fancy garlic bread 

Well, DH nearly took the top of our heads with the meals this week.  Using a newly bought chilly    added to chopped chicken breasts stir fried with mixed veg., it was SO hot  -  - I did worry that the meat would have taken up the chilly during  2day in the fridge but this evening's meal wasn't too much hotter

I had a portion of sauce made earlier in the week (onion, celery, mushroom, pancetta, passata and butter beans with paprika) so have just eaten it with a griddled salmon steak). Will probably have the rest of the sauce with pasta tomorrow.

Cauliflower burger with onion relish, toasted bap, fried onions + melted cheese + salad with couscous mixed in. Rest of the family are avid carnivores. I will be very windy tomorrow morning!

DH is frying duck breasts in butter: in the oven are veg roasting - pumpkin [home grown], potatoes, beetroot [from the garden], on top sprouts bubbling nicely.  That's be noisy later then

Boiled eggs and soldiers.  We ate out lunchtime.

Home made cottage pie for OH, and MiL.
And spag Bol for me and my son, with garlic bread.

Then for pudding, mixed fruit salad, smothered in lemon Greek yogurt.
