I love chip shop.
But I can't eat it much, every time I eat it I feel soooo sick.
Think it's my liver disease can't digest the fat too good.
Pie's upset my stomach, so don't have them very often either.
Onions upset me too but I won't give them up.
So, enjoy your haddock n chips, kernow, also it saves you cooking.

Interesting doing it in the oven. May I ask what temp and how long you cook it for?

Hi everyone

That sounds lovely daisydot, I might try that in the week,
Only with chips n salad, n mushrooms, my other 1/2 don't like
Garlic so will have to do them separate.
Saves getting the griddle pan out.

If you like it really brown leave it in 35 mins sometimes I do that,I cook my lamb cutlets that way,no garlic, just salt and pepper and olive oil and I brown pork shoulder steaks in frying pan on high heat then put in roasting tray with shallots and gravy and cook n oven at 180 for just about an hour fifteen mins.theyre just delicious takes ages to get the smell out the house lol, pork shoulder steaks are under £3 for around 4 so it's a good dinner for a lean night lol.
Hope I've not bored you xx
