I used to get these as a child due to sitting with my feet to near the fire.

The best thing to cool the itch is a paste of bicarb and water. Smooth it on and cover with cotton socks or a bandage. Always worked a treat.

 :thankyou:  Grandma always used zinc and caster oil ointment or bicarb of soda ........ have some Manuka honey meant for sore eyes, might try that  ;)
Changes can be scarey, even when we want them!
