I was so sad to read he's passed away, I loved all his animal programmes,he seemed like a genuinely kind and caring man  :'(

Me too Jaypo  :'(….He was, indeed, a rare individual on the telly - totally genuine and caring. It was heartwarming to see his interactions at Battersea  :'(

I loved the battersea programme songbird,he did so much for their profile,I loved pretty much all of his programmes tbh  :(
