Hi Daisydot,. Yes, Dr Currie did reply and she was very reassuring.  I think there was a blip with Hotmail that affected the response initially.  I am glad you found the consultation helpful and hope all goes well with the doctor. Xx

Is it really just one question?
I'd like to be informed before I see my GP ( who told me to come back when I've been period free for a year!!)
HRT and headaches worry me but my memory is so bad now I need to do something.

I've recently had an email consultation with Dr Currie, it was prompt, very helpful and it was thanks to Dr Currie's prompt replies that I was pointed in the right direction. I cannot thank her enough,
P.s. well worth the fee, go for it, it's like having the best lawyer in the world when the Gp won't listen

I'm not sure why the animosity in response to a simple ? By CLKD.  Henyway that was last year.   Though 30 quid per question! Per email maybe but per ?

That makes me question

I would like to use this service too-but I didn't realise it was a fee for one question not one email.  That would be my month's salary gone if I paid per question😀!!!

I’ve just used this service of email & I must say that I’m glad I did
I gave my background and symptoms etc of what I’ve been going through and asked the question at end of email
Yes I asked one question but I was replied to in detail and made me understand more .. I wrote a long email and I received a long email back ( not just the answer and that’s it )
I feel I would use this again if I ever wanted professional advice

Thankyou DR CURRIE

Thank-you for the kind words.
Just to clarify and sorry for any misunderstanding, I am happy to try to answer whatever you want to ask. When it comes to menopausal issues, it is difficult to pin down to one question!
Best wishes
Heather

I know this isnt strictly on topic but is related.

Does Dr Currie still have their nhs clinic and, if so, can people outside of the area be referred?

Just a quick question, would you know how long it takes for Dr Curry to respond? I am a bit concerned that my email has not been received but it has been only a week.
