We were about to get into the car when the heavens OPENED!  Any higher up and it would have fallen as snow.  Lasted about 25 mins., sharp rain that came down in stair rods [any1 remember those  ;D].  Then the sun came out.  Dry since  ::)

Omg, it's turned beautiful here, glorious sunshine pouring through the patio window.
it's so lovely and warm. For a second, I was transformed back to Lanzarote!  ;D   :'(

Must have rained all night  :-\ - water pouring over the roads by-passing drains that are not flush with the road  >:(.  Saw a couple of highways workers with a brush ...........  :-\ that's won't work!

CLKD; no not a tile, had some new mixer taps fitted on friday, and later heard a noise like my washing machine spinning,realised it might be an air lock so ran the taps,it stopped, but then kept starting up, and especially when the toilet was flushed, i was advised by my son to bleed the radiators,which i did, but no air in them i must not have tightened the bathroom one enough, although no water was coming out when i left it, but later found the floor flooded, water was spurting out, then the heating went off and no hot water
I didn't dare touch the boiler so switched it off,
Had it seen to today,the pressure was non existent, so got heating back now
All my own fault really i suppose, but definitely no water spurting when i left it
Today we had sleet ,but now sunshine, but the wind is getting up again
Hoping the other tree doesn't come down
This one was waterlogged at the root, the other doesn't look too healthy,i will miss them as in summer and Autumn they were beautiful with lots of red berries

 :o ........ I hate spilt water, sugar and milk  >:(

Some trees with shallow roots don't fare well in this weather.  Snow is forecast  ::)
