Thunder & extremely heavy rain overnight, dry there when I got up but downpour again. There has been alot of flooding locally recently, guaranteed this will impact again on those folks who were flooded last week :'(

As a meander: does anyone think that the Police were heavy handed in not allowing people to collect their pets at Whaley Bridge but apparently a 'special' group could go in to catch/feed etc.?  Who will be paying for this I wonder, hopefully the Police.  Because NO ONE would have stopped me from reaching my 3 cats and dog !!!  and it becomes a Welfare Issue after 12 hours.  Not a peep from the RSPCA on this either  :-\

That is a hard one as the fifteen minutes residents were given the other day, wouldn't have suited everyone with work etc and pets mean a lot to owners and are treated as equals, you can't leave them to suffer.

They can go home today but were not allowed back even though pets had been left behind  >:(.  Try stopping me that's all I say  >:(  :cuss:   :argue:

I wonder if they will be evacuated when the Dam is refilled?  Lovely sunny evening with cooling breeze through the windows.
