We also had a short lived hail storm, otherwise lots of sunny spells, still windy but not as fierce & chilly

Sunny am, cloud & sunny spells pm, lighter winds but still a chill
Chose the wrong place to for a walk as a few miles down the road I got rather wet!

I've had that experience - many years ago Dad and I were travelling on a country road in bright sunshine.  The field beyond the hedge beside us was being rained upon  :o  ::) - never seen that phenomenon again though I have known it to rain at the front of our house and we be sitting in the garden at the back  :whist:
