It was cool this morning but the sun came out at lunch time and we've had another lovely sunny afternoon. It's turned cool now.

Sunshine - sitting in the sunshine! - I'd sell my soul for sunshine.  I used to live in Poole in Dorset where you wore a roll neck and a fleece in winter and the sun shone loads - now I am consigned to loads grey although this summer for here has been great but nothing like the 30's seen in England.  My most favourite thing in the world is sunshine - the hotter the better

Spent the day in Hunstanton and it got up to 26c.It was fantastic. People in T shirts, eating icecreams and just watching the world go by.  We have had an amazing summer here. It started the first week in June after a wet May and its been lovely just about ever since.  I can only recall about 3 days when we had rain.

Where am I - that's a good question today?? :-\  I am in delightfully grey Northern Ireland, where everyone comments on how lovely and green everything is - well that's because it rains a lot and we get lots of this  :drunklaf:  Where we get the westerlys blowing in and making their way to Scotland - you know that bit on the weather forecast where they cut Ireland and the UK in half on the diagonal and I am always on the non-sunny side.  :( I love living here except for the weather and the fact that no one delivers good stuff from Groupon, Woucher and even Amazon if it weighs more than 5kg or you have to take out a second mortgage to pay for the postage despite us having a UK postcode and the Royal Mail!

Sorry if my response is ****ly - I said in "how are you today" that I was a misery.  I should be celebrating your good fortune and cheering but my delightful daughters who still live in Poole in Dorset always taunt me everyday the sun shines asking me what the weather is like by text knowing full well what it is like here - Their gleefulness does not add to my humour on a bad day  :madeyes:- now it seems you lot are joining in with your "lovely sunshine" ;) ;) Serves me right for visiting "hows the weather with you" huh :lol: :lol:

PF - Sunny Hunny then .......... is the fun-fair still open?  The only coast on the East that faces West ;-)-  Could you see The Stump?
