One of my two cats has a habit of bringing into the house little presents of live mice; we live in the country so she quite often brings them in, sets them down and then forgets about them..I cant kill any living creature so mouse traps are a no-no, but hubby has a special jar he keeps and he somehow manages to catch the mice (they're actually quite cute little things when you see them!) and then takes them outside to the field at the back of the house. Mind you, there was one occasion when one of them somehow got under my duvet and I felt it nibble my toes, my god did I jump out of that bed!!Its only happened once though, thank goodness. My other cat is so timid all it can catch, or try to!, is butterflies..
