Stephen Sondheim
Alan Bennett
Terry Pratchett
Josh Wheelon
Andy Sipowicz (sp?!) - well, the actor who played him!  ;D
Most important, OH.
These are all heroes of his - and have become mine - and I would love to see him interacting with them.  :)

Can't I just take some people up the pub - I am not one for sitting and eating for long.

Who is Tom Barnaby?

Oh yes - silly me! I would take Frank Turner up the pub - nice to look at and interesting to talk to.

I'd heard that about him too.  I used to love watching him in Bergerac until I heard he had a nasty side to him.  Put me right off, so it did.

I feel a bit like that about Shane Ritchie.
I love him as Alfie in eastenders but not as himself when interviewed.
A bit too big for his boots, I think.

There is no Glastonbury this year CLKD but he may be at Reading and Leeds. He is on a big American tour at the minute and my son's going to meet up with him in Tampa on Monday which should be a lot of fun. He is a bit busy for me to meet him up the pub I fear http://frank-turner.com/blog/upcoming-gigs/  :D

I would like-
Rupert Penry Jones
Johnny Depp
David Attenborough
Bette Davis
Mark Twain

I can think of loads, but they would never fit around my dinner table. Lol

Um... let's see -

The Hairy Bikers, for their great banter about the food (which they'd have cooked)
David Mitchell, for his infectious sense of humour
Jo Brand, for her warm-hearted, self-deprecating jokes
Mary Berry, who's so knowledgeable about baking
Frank Skinner - always gets me laughing
Chris Packham, to talk about animals
Maxim Vengerov - great violinist and fascinating talker
Alina Ibragimova - ditto                      ditto
Olivier Latry - brilliant French organist

(Why did I put all these reasons in?  Oh well, never mind...!)

Good reasons.

I would love to bring back people so that they could comment on how technology has moved on - whether Beethoven liked the various recordings of his music for example.  To show Leonardo that he was as close as possible to being first in many things!  To allow Elizabeth Vigee to talk with Marie antoinnette (Pity I can't spell  ::) )
