Weight Gain
«

Hi there
As a woman who started menopause at 36 and is still suffering symptoms at 48 I am trying to tackle my latest legacy - weight gain. Does anyone have any advice/tips/recommendations for me? I have gained more than 4 stones and no matter how little I eat I cannot shift the (very) unwanted pounds. I am not looking for a miracle cure but any help gratefully received.

Are you on hrt as this can def cause weight gain. Have you had your thryoid checked recently?? I have underactive thryoid and this causes weight gain and tiredness.
I found that keeping a food diary of absolutely everything put in my mouth was a big eye opener for me
Maybe try this for a week and see just how much you are really eating.

Really? I thought the jury was definitely out on that one.

Me too Rielayace 3.5 to 4 stones.
I am afraid to write a negative word here about the numerous different eating habits I have tried - because it will only become lodged in my brain - but I am with you on this one.
There is another thread going at the moment in a similar vein with suggestions.
Exercise is missing from my regime - so that is a gap I need to plug - slowly!!
