Endometrium thickness on sequential HRT
« on: October 25, 2024, 02:33:42 PM »

 Hello Ladies

My recent scan shows myET 7mm, I've been on sequential HRT for a year. I also have fibroids about 4 cm. My cycle length varies from 17- 38 days out of sync recently with utrogestan. GP sent me an urgent referral to gynaecology. I think that 7 mm on HRT is within the norm. Any of you have similar measurement ?

Hi Dot73

Mine was 10mm, but I’m post meno.
Had biopsy done, all ok. 🥵
I’ve had too much oestrogen, not enough progesterone.
I think because you’ve been out of sync with your utrogestion, that’s what’s happened.
Hopefully you’ll be ok, please let us know.
I did read somewhere that women on hrt do have thicker linings, 🤷🏼‍♀️ but maybe some will correct me there.

It depends what time of the cycle it was. In meno or at it's thinnest immediately post bleed it should be 4mm (some say 5 if on hrt). If it's just before a bleed it could be 16mm or more and not a problem.
