The Word map has changed, the country where I was born no longer exits.  :-\

The sky is not so blue and the grass is not as green as before.  ;D

Johnson’s baby cream in green round pots disappeared, I used that cream for my face until the age 45.  :-\

I am 1 cm shorter than before. When I am asked how tall I am I need to remember to deduct 1 cm.  :-\

To be honest everything is changed, nothing left unchanged for me.

I struggle with change.  Sorry to hear about your country  :'(  I haven't looked at the world map in a long time..

The 1 cm shorter thing, I am wondering if that's a decrease in testosterone.  I was looking up about testosterone for my ex.  One of the questions asked if you are shorter than before.  I am thinking about getting mine tested and treated if need be.

Hope you have a good day  :)

baby oil works well - i think better than coconut.  I had to wear lots of patches and had lots of residue.  You should anyway rotate the site so don't think there's a problem with scrubbing away once you've taken it off/moved elsewhere.  Hope it keeps helping you xx

Hello ladies.

I agree that it is an unfortunate state of affairs but I can't see things changing anytime soon.

I know the waiting room was packed when I went for my last scan and with all those women to get through I suppose the staff needed to get on with it.
Maybe any type of sedation takes longer and some may need a Dr to attend. All of that adds time and staff pressure.
It really doesn't matter what is on the form, they are only words and if the clinic needs to get through lots of appointments asap then they are going to press on. Of course the staff are going to say that some women don't feel a thing, they have to say that otherwise they will be admitting that that they willingly inflict pain on us.
At an appointment a while ago I had an examination and I told the Consultant that my Hysteroscopy was painful and he said that should not have been the case. Apparently there is an effective numbing cream and other topical treatments that should be used. He seemed surprised that didn't happen. Well I wasn't surprised and perhaps next time he can attend and make sure that 'best practice ' is actually implemented.
Sorry to be so cynical ladies but corners are often cut in many services and industries and this is just another one of them.

Take care ladies.

K.

Are you peri or meno? What patches ate you on? Sequi or conti? How long have you been on it? It's the progesterone that needs to be sorted out. The best option for problem bleeding is usually a mirena. Double dose utrogestan can be used too. Tranexamic acid can be used to stop it if it's  bad. Your gp may want you to have a scan in case it's caused by fibroids etc.

I've had a letter to tell me no cancer was found so I've been discharged.  Good news. It's a quick turnaround.  I'm still waiting to hear from my stomach one from 5 months ago.

Does anyone find themselves commenting on how things are different these days?

I mean I've only noticed all the differences along with the pandemic, not a more gradual ageing process but still, anyone with examples are welcome.

Mine starts with a moan.  My new hairdryer takes 30 mins to fully dry my hair.  Prior ones ALL MY LIFE UP TO NOW have dried it in 5 - 10 mins at the most.  Anyone else noticed this?

 ;D

These days time flies faster than usual. I don't have 24 hours to do them all, I think  I need 48 hours a day.

Definitely agree with this, what the heck is this about??

I've wondered about planning my 'day' over 48 hours and just treat night as an afternoon nap!  Since all that I need to do in a day now seems to require 48 hours, definitely.

Annoying that one.

When the young children come round in our family, they seem to be on one activity, then another, then another.  No wonder they think they have such a long day, their attention spans are much shorter.  But I don't think having a short attention span as an adult gives a sense of more time, it just gives more chaos  ;D
