My scalp has been itching a lot. So last night I washed and rinsed it well but the itch remained: all over and down the back of my neck. I massaged a soft hand cream into the whole of my scalp and slept OK. Now various parts of my skin above my waste, itch; back of my neck, eye lids, facial skin, ears ...............
Off to find some soft cream! Surely after all these years my oestrogen levels haven't dropped to cause these sensations?

Didn't you have a covid jab recently. Is it a known side effect?

Which vaccine did you have CLKD? A less common side effect of the Astra Zenica one is skin itching. It's not been noted in the Pfizer one as far as I am aware. I had Pfizer and my partner had Astra. His leaflet does state skin itching as a side effect. Mine doesn't. It affects one in a hundred people.

Tnx. AstraZenica on Friday - strange that the itching is waist upwards though. My scalp has itched for weeks so I washed and dried it carefully earlier. Not rubbing the scalp, used a warmed towel very gently. If I hadn't had the jab I wouldn't think much other than hormones >:( ::)
