Title: Soft swelling on neck
Post by: gillgrant on February 17, 2021, 04:09:24 PM
Hi I have noticed a soft swelling on my neck. There is no lump or pain. It looks like water retention. I had a sore throat 3 weeks ago that cleared after a couple of days.  I have had it 3 weeks now. Any advice.

Hi GG,
You don't mention exactly where on your neck, front or back?  Could your glands still be up fighting infection?  I had many a sore throat as a child and my glands would always to swollen.
Perhaps someone else might have some ideas.

You can get soft fatty lumps on the neck, or in fact other places.  My husband has one.  However, as it's new and unexpected it's always best to get it checked.
