Title: Oestrogen level
Post by: sed on January 21, 2021, 07:26:26 PM
I am not sure if there is an answer to this question as realise that hormones fluctuate but my recent blood test has shown my oestrogen level to be 66 pmol/L and wondered if this is on average low.  I am really struggling to find the right levels with Oestrogel which I have only been on for 3.5 weeks along with the Mirena and on 2 pumps.  I was using Evorel 50 conti patches but didn’t work for me.  Hopefully someone could help?

I had an estrogen test a few months back, it said normal levels on HRT should be between 75-400. I'm on patches and mine came back at 200 which I was told was normal for being on hrt.
I would say yours is at the low end of normal. I couldn't get on with the gel, it was horrendous, my estrogen hit rock bottom as I never absorbed it and all my symptoms came back.

66pmol/l is vey low. 250-350 is recommended to maintain bone health.
