Title: Possible Link Between Menopause and Covid Risk
Post by: loonarider on December 04, 2020, 10:42:00 PM
I'm not really surprised by this, but it doesn't help my health anxiety one bit.

Yes there was a whole programme on Radio 4 late summer about the protective effect of oestrogen whether natural or from HRT. It was very interesting.

Ah, wonder if the programme will be still available to listen to! What would a natural oestrogen be? Sorry I'm so out of my depth here. :/

I meant oestrogen naturally produced by the ovaries before they stop working.

I've found mention of it on Woman's Hour which was broadcast in May. I can't share the link from my phone but if you Google Radio 4 oestrogen covid 19 it should bring it up. It's the first subject on the programme and they are talking to Louise Newsome.
