But still there. I have had a telephone conversation with Mt doctor and been given cream and antibiotics. The cream helps but it's very harsh and don't know if this irritates the area. I'm worried about cancer yes I v done the worst thing and googled. Any help would be appreciated ❤️

Your GP needs to keep up and prescribe appropriate vaginal atrophy treatment ;-).  Browse round, we have several threads on bladder issues and vaginal atrophy

As oestrogen levels drop the body may become dry : inside and out; nose, deep in the ears, vagina, skin, scalp, as well as muscles may become lax = aches and pains, frozen shoulder ...........  :welcomemm: it's The Change, does what it says on the tin  ::)

But you are not alone.  Most of us have been through what you may encounter so ask away.

Did your GP send a urine sample to a Lab to be tested?   I would ring this morning and ask for vaginal atrophy treatment, you don't need an examaintnion nor blood tests for this one.  It will either be 'ovestin' or 'vagifem' with clear instructions.  Let us know how you get on.  You can say to your GP that you have talked to someone about your feelings and it has been suggested that ...........

The active ingredient is a low amount used in the vagina.  If you have no history of cancers there shouldn't be any problems from your GP.
