Ok had my ovaries out in Oct & I still have my uterus
Despite telling the gp I should probably be on continuous hrt I'm not
So bleeding, is this a period? A blip? To be expected? Or not....
-
Sequi should give you a bleed. But as you say I would have expected you to be on conti. On the plus side you now know you're OK with the prog so you could ask for conti at your next review. Did she say why she gave you sequi?

Because it hasn't been a year since my last period!
I tried to explain but I got told not to read the Internet she is a trained doctor not google :(

If only I was a doctor I might understand her logic, to us mere mortals it just doesn't make sense! And I so hate the 'I'm a doctor so don't question me' attitude.

Me too!

Katymac how are you.
I remember talking about surgical meno with you. We had our operations a few weeks apart.
Do you think anyone would be interested if I started a surgical meno thread. I dont want people to think I'm trying to set us apart or say it is worse for us but there are extra challenges that come with surgical meno, at least I have come to realise that. Thought it might be good to start a thread and maybe we might get some positive stories too, goodness kn
ows I need to hear some!!
