Evening everyone
I know that as we get older our bodies change and HRT allegedly doesnt cause this. Personally I'm not convinced. I was just wondering of anyone who has used different types of HRT has experienced weight gain from one type and not another? Since using patches I seem to have piled it on around my waist, bum and hips which I didn't get when I was using Estrogel. Maybe it would have happened if i had continued with it? Ugh 😢

Sorry you haven't had a response.
My apron dropped so that I look fatter but haven't put on any weight. I am not on HRT. So it is probably lower oestrogen.

I was putting on weight before I started HRT so for me it was an age thing. In fact it's easier to keep it off now I'm on HRT but probably because I am more active now the fatigue is under control. Can't answer the question about different types of HRT.
