Hi,
Just found out that there is another supply issue with Femseven Conti. Am I right in thinking that the only alternative is Evorel Conti - I do know it has a different progesterone? So annoyed.
-
Oh no... I've just been prescribed these. Hope I can get another prescription when I need them. Are you in the UK?
-
Yes, I am in the UK. Currently ringing round all the local chemists but it is not looking very hopeful. :'(

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but TEVA tell me that they now anticipate that Fem7 Conti will not be produced by them until 'the last quarter of 2019' - I am fuming !
They are changing the adhesive - hence the stop in production.
I am in the same boat as you, scrabbling around to find a few boxes, but they are like Hens Teeth :(
Not sure what alternative would be best, as I don't like the type of Prog in the Evorel Conti (noreth).
Might have to look at patch oest + oral prog?
I am seeing my Meno Consultant in Nov, so will discuss with her ...

The adhesive certainly needs sorting out, but you would think they would produce enough to cover a gap in production, wouldn't you ??? or maybe not ::)

Hi ladies.
I just wondered how you are doing and whether you have changed the type of HRT you are taking? I have the same problem as you. I have used my last patch so the doctor has prescribed Femoston Conti tablets. They're really not agreeing with me so I'm going to go back to the and see her next week to ask for something else. Have you found success with anything else? Thanks x

R GPs not aware of which medications are running short?
