What's your pet hate about the things you do.
I need to stop ordering stuff online because it does my head in being stuck in waiting on deliveries,the odd one I can track I'm ok with but today I have three different lots of deliveries right up to 9 pm tonight,that'll teach me.lol.

So far one delivery down two to go lol house has had a good going over today I've made a nice pot of soup,tongues still sore so not chewing,caught up on loads of jobs so I suppose being stuck in has its bonuses.
(I miss my mum,if I was half the darling lady that she was I'd die happy)x

Ooh, I have lots and lots of pet hates but top of the list at the moment is parents who take their children, into the supermarket, on their scooters. WHY?
It's so dangerous.

Starting things that take much longer than I thought they would. Need to remember that I am not as nippy as I used to be. How are your deliveries coming along Daisydot?

One of my pet hates is,
when someone has made a coffee/tea, and left a mess
On the work top and left the spoon out on the top.
Why not just wipe up the mess, (water, sugar) and put the flipping
used spoon in the sink! Messy beggars. >:(
Also, crumbs, hate toast crumbs, biscuit crumbs,
anything crumbly. Except OH. He's lovely n crumbly..... ;D. Hehehe

My pet hate is when DH starts a conversation as I am walking away ::) - we live in a large house with thick walls, I suppose walking back to hear what he's trying to tell me is cheaper than going to the gym?

I can't think of anything I do :ange:
But others... nosy chewing, sniffing, pushing in queues, not saying thank you when having held the door open for someone or let them through first (that goes for car users too) unanswered ringing telephones, people blowing smoke (vape) in your face, cashier workers sneezing in their hands then touching my shopping... I wonder how less tolerant I'd be if I didn't take HRT ;D

I hate it when I say right this time I'm not gonna weaken and give in to those kids/grandkids but of course we do don't we lol

I would be here till next week if I had to list other people's annoying habits Salad.
But top of the list and I apologise to anyone who drives one of these are Audi and BMW drivers I'm sure they have to take a special idiots driving test before they are allowed on the road !!!

I blame the car manufacturer for not fitting their indicators correctly :D

Other peoples dogs off lead running up to mine when she's on the lead.
When they don't call their dog back, and I'm left with a ‘situation',
Some people look at me as if I'M in the wrong!
What the hell is wrong with these people?
People who don't clear up their dogs mess, and I walk in it, really irritating,
and disgusting. My god, there's bins all over the park, why not just pick it up
and bin it? Ohhhh, I could go on,.................... >:(

Totally agree Jd. Especially those who tell me their dogs are friendly when they obviously aren't, and those who leave dog mess a couple of feet from a bin!

I remember those situations when my little daisy was here.I used to spit feathers at them I'd get so angry at her frantically trying to get away from some big mutt after her and me getting wrapped up in her lead, the air would be bright blue.lol

We see a lot of those types of drivers .......... I have to remind my husband to 'indicate'! I know where I'm going is the reply, well actually, I would like to know too!

I don't do anything of course ahem :ange: :ange:
But my pet hates are -
Most of what others have said plus my husband's latest knack of spilling things, in fairness he does bring me a glass of wine but he's like Mrs. Overall and half of it ends up on the floor 🙄
My kitchen floor which is a textured tile which seems to absorb every little bit of the said spill which I then have to try and scrub. Don't ever get a textured tiled floor.
Rude people who never say please or thank you
People who say ‘you what' to everything I say and I KNOW they have heard me 🥊
Doctors who tell me how well I look to the point I now go to appointment to without make up so they see the real me 👹
I could go on and on .........

It doesn't cost anything to be polite,
even when I'm in a really bad mood I'm still polite to people.
Pity I don't get it back....

But I get "I know I did tell you" - this has been going on for years :-\ until sometimes I doubt my own sanity. :'(. So we have a his/hers calendar and if it ain't on there, we ain't doing it! Conversation though is something else. I do believe that he tells others and thinks that I was included in that particular conversation!

This is another one I really annoy me with,the great sandal saga,I buy sandals every year and I do the same thing put them on for five minutes say oh yes they're fine and dump the receipts or boxes then the torture begins.It doesent respect price either I never buy cheapies last pair I bought from Clark's £35 and they shredded my feet to bits in Benidorm and I was too far away from the hotel to do anything other than walk back in them,you should see the scarring on my insteps where they dug in and it was like Chinese burns so deep.I hate buying sandals/shoes/ footwear.I bought sandals today and the tags and receipts are in my jewellery box this time,just in case lol

Hi daisydot.
It's so annoying ent it.
I've bought 3pairs boots this last winter, 1 long brown, 1long black, and 1ankle boot.
They were fine when I tried them on, but when I've been out in them they've killed my little toes. :'(
Gutted.....I've got soft corns (I think they're soft) on both toes, and they really hurt.
Then when I go to wear my other older boots which are obviously worn in, it makes no
difference, the little toes kill. >:(
Corn plasters, don't help either, sometimes I get the pumice on them in the shower, and that
helps for a day or so, then the pains back. Maybe I should buy wider fit, but then they feel too big.
I don't really have a problem with sandles, I'm just glad to give my little toes a rest. :)

A thing I do that irritates me is if I spin round one way to do something eg turn clockwise from the kitchen work surface to the hob behind me, I have to go back the way I came ie anticlockwise to get back to where I was, I can't just continue clockwise all the way round. So I waste a lot of my life spinning round which doesn't help the diziness and nausea I suffer due to meno / HRT. Ridiculous ! ;D ;D
