It must have been in a large clean area as it is completely clean, even under his tail â€¦.. (looked at the news coverage again). He even wags his tail and has a run round but wasn't desperate for a wee.

Former Butlin's Redcoat Ted McDermott, who was diagnosed with dementia in 2013, spent decades entertaining people.
Decca Records signed him up after videos of his carpool karaoke were watched 40 million times on YouTube.
His son Simon McDermott, 40, said it was "a dream come true".
His father has recorded "You Make Me Feel So Young", with "Quando Quando Quando" on the B-side, and proceeds of its sale will go to the Alzheimer's Society and the McDermott family.
Mr McDermott has difficulty recognising his son, but the two tracks are among several songs he remembers the words for.
His son found that singing the songs, while driving around Blackburn, helped his father cope with his Alzheimer's disease.
Simon posted the videos online to increase awareness for the Alzheimer's Society and raised Â£114,000 for the charity, but they did not expect the deal.

Post by: coldethyl on February 20, 2017, 01:32:20 PM: Thanks - my mood somewhat tempered by the lady that used to work st my dentist turning up at unit and going " oh my god" when I said I had ovarian cancer - it is no better or worse than her breast cancer just the screening programme picks hers up earlier possibly whilst oc is often picked up when it's very advanced - there are no guarantees for any cancer tbh x

Nobody my age is going through it and don't no many people where I live to talk about it and get help.
I was that low on the femeston last week I had to stop so for the moment I'm but on premique (I have 5 months supply) so will be needing advice but for the moment I just need some stability xx

A helicopter crew on a training exercise in the Cairngorms has rescued a small dog missing for 48 hours in bad weather.

Ben ran off while on a trip near Loch Avon on Monday, before stormy conditions later took hold on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Inverness Coastguard helicopter crew spotted the dog on a narrow ledge above a 60m (200ft) vertical drop.

They brought him on board and he has now been reunited with his owners.

When he was found, Ben was caked in snow after spending hours in wintry, windy conditions.
The crew was undertaking winter training with a visitor from Humberside Coastguard helicopter base at Stag Rocks in the Cairngorms.

Ben was spotted just as cloud cleared when the helicopter was circling overhead.
A Coastguard spokeswoman said: "The weather had luckily presented them an ideal window of opportunity to use the rest of their training time to rescue the dog.

"The dog was terrified and cold, so it was flown to the nearby Glenmore Lodge who then rushed it to the Strathspey Vets.

"We have since heard that the dog is doing well and has been happily reunited with its owner."

Ahhh aint that a lovely story'

Two-year-old Nutmeg disappeared from her home in Coombe Dingle, Bristol, at the end of September.

She was returned two weeks later after staff found her at a supermarket in Crewe, Cheshire.

Malcolm Stern, from Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, chanced on the 1930s Talbot Barracq while trying to recreate a 3D model.

apparently the 'gimp' crawled along the road in the dark, appearing like something from a horror movie ........ or like he was going to pull a car door undone and attempt an abduction :-\

A ewe that was dubbed Britain's loneliest sheep has been rescued from a remote shore in the Scottish Highlands.

The sheep, now named Fiona, had been stranded at the foot of cliffs on the Cromarty Firth for at least two years.

An animal welfare charity had said any attempts to rescue her would be "incredibly complex". [they weren't bothered even though as a herd animal, she was alone]

But a group of five farmers have now managed to haul her up a steep slope. They plan to shear her overgrown fleece and hand her over to a farm park.

Since it’s been mentioned again, he was dressed in a black all in one suit apparently writhing around on the floor in public and alarmed two women. This actually happened to me when I was about 12. Two boys from school with tights over their head popped out of the bushes sticking their tongues out. Never seen a woman doing it though, unsurprisingly! ;D

A lucky cat was rescued by firefighters after falling 100ft (30m) down a mineshaft in Cornwall - and it was all thanks to a quick-thinking dog.

After six days of searching, Mowgli's owner Michele Rose said she had "almost given up hope" of finding her missing pet.

But she said she saw her dog Daisy "going berserk", running in and out of woods near their home in Harrowbarrow.

Daisy's intervention led to the rescue of her feline friend, Ms Rose said.

His recovery, (apart from a slight infection, which has cleared up,) has gone so well.
He's starting to eat better now, and isn't in so much pain.
The doctor said he's way ahead of where he should be at this stage.

Hundreds of trees were destroyed in the extreme weather across the Jersey island on 1 and 2 November.

Hanni Osman has started collecting some of the wood to craft into instruments.

He said: "You see how much these trees means to people and everyone I spoke have a real attachment to the wood that's fallen in their area.

"They're landmark features and have a very special place in their hearts.

"So I thought instead of letting the wood would be chipped away or turned into firewood, I would try to make something good out of this sentimental wood."

Mr Osman is a luthier - someone who builds or repairs string instruments that have a neck and a sound box.

She says the rescue effort that was met with obstacles "have been a testament of human endurance". [since 12th November]

She says: "The nation salutes their resilience and remains grateful to them for building critical infrastructure, even at great personal risk, far away from their homes.

"I congratulate the teams and all experts who have acted with incredible grit and determination to perform one of the most difficult rescue missions in history."

She's not sure if the HRT caused my abnormal thickened womb lining or not. But she'll see me in 3 months time to check the me over and if no problems, she'll discharge me.
So I'm happy as Larry, whoever he is! ;D

I had a skin lesion removed almost 4 weeks ago. The two and a half week wait for biopsy result was agonising but I got confirmation that it was what the consultant thought so, all good.
The old "health anxiety" made an unwelcome return 😬, let me tell you!

But a Tattoo.... Do IT! I have several, all highly personal to me my first ( a grey wolf) lead me to meet the man I have loved and been loved by for the last 30+ years! My last was a ring tattooed on my wedding finger so I will go to my grave wearing his ring. Me? Romantic much??

I love tats too, only having 3 myself. Each wrist and shoulder. Always said I'd get one on my ankle but never got round to it. ::)

I got 2 of them 20 years ago (and they are still very much still there 😲)

The bird was discovered when carpet cleaner Bob Hayes was working in the house and noticed the tree branches moving.

The family says the bird was able to go undetected for four days because it blended into the tree's branches.

I don't think that in general, humans take enough 'time out' these days. Certainly when Wilbur went missing I realised how much I had taken him for granted :-\. Not something I've done with DH .......... I've never understood 'can't see the wood for the trees' either ::)
