Title: Starflower oil
Post by: CarolynBurn on July 23, 2016, 12:33:48 PM
Has anyone used Starflower oil before to help with breast tenderness? I have heard that it can really help, and I have been experiencing very painful boobs for half my cycle for months now. Have just started Sandrena today, and starting Utrogestan next Wednesday, but from some of the threads that I have read on here, some people find that Utro gives them painful breasts.....the thought of it getting any worse is worrying me   :-\ thanks!

I was told it was the amount of GLA which was important in the capsules. It should be around 250mg. Starflower capsules were the only ones which had a high enough content at 240mg. They certainly helped my boobs. Eventually I was able to stop them.

Thanks for the replies.....Inhave been using it only for the past two days, but have had a bit of a queasy/ibs kinda tummy, so don't know if that's related, but I will persevere and see how it goes 😊
