Hi everyone,
I’m new here but I’m looking for some support. I started oestrodial about four weeks ago and I’ve had a really annoying eye twitch for about three weeks. Optician said nothing is wrong with my eyes and it’ll go away eventually.
Has anyone else had this since starting HRT? I feel very alone trying to futile it out.

Yes I think it might actually drive me nuts!!
I’d just love to know how long it’ll last because right now it feels like it’s never going to go away which is the worst part.
I wasn’t bloody stressed before I started twitching and now the twitch is stressing me out which is making the twitch worse!!

I am also experiencing this awful twitch on my left eyelid.
Has been a few days since it started and had happened in the past too. It does stop eventually don't think there is much that can be done unfortunately.
Sometimes I have heard it can be connected to tiredness or excessive caffeine. My sleep hasn't been the best last few nights.
I don't think there is any need to worry though like I say I have had it in the past a few times. X

I had this going on for months and it disappeared within a week of taking iron supplements. It might be worth getting your ferritin and B vit levels checked out - iron in particular seems to be an issue for a lot of women in peri.

That's very interfering as my ferritin is within range but at the lower end.

I've had mouth trembling and my ferritin level is low. I didn't consider a connection. I can't take the iron tablets, they cause nausea

I've had this on and off, it seems to be related to tiredness for me. Although I also do suffer with low ferritin!
I would recommend some early nights, 10pm lights out and a check up at the opticians xx
