Title: Osteoma
Post by: Mummytron on December 15, 2025, 06:25:48 PM
Hi all,
I have an osteoma on the back of my skull which I had for years. It's a benign tumour, basically all bone and not sinister.
It feels uncomfortable and I'm worried about it. The GP is going to refer me for an mri to see if its affecting the soft tissue and causing the sensations which is good.
I just wondered if anyone else has experience of these please?

It's benign which is good.  Getting a scan will give you a base line from which to work.  MayB make a list of your worries and symptoms to take to the appt..

Where R U in the menopause journey because it may simply be that the loss of oestrogen: the body's elasticity: may well be causing you 2 become more aware of it.  All U have to wait long for an appt.?

Towards the end of perimenopause I think, 10 years and hardly any periods now.
