Started low dose of androfeme last few weeks for dryness issues and noticed that dryness has got worse. Eyes are really sore and constipated again. Such a shame as feel much better on it in myself. Really fed up 53 year old! Anyone else experienced this side effect or just me?
Any advice gratefully received thank you x

I didn't get any side effects on Androfeme (now on testogel as GP took on the prescribing of testosterone from Newson) but that doesn't help you!
Taking it back to basis - and apologies if I'm teaching granny to suck eggs! - are you drinking enough water? I suffered from extremely dry eyes a couple of years ago and it turned out I was dehydrated, as diagnosed by my optician! Upping my water intake also helped with bowel motions, even though I wouldn't have said I was constipated I was definitely very irregular. I now make sure I drink a minimum of 1.5l of water each day when at home, if I go out walking I drink more, on top of any coffee I drink.
Hopefully you get sorted soon

Taking androfeme for dryness is an unusual and expensive indication!
However it sounds as if it has been beneficial overall.
Personally I would rather (and do) have my androgens and use eye drops and a laxative, in addition to hydration and fibre.

There are proprietary medications for dryness! Vagifem and generic, + estriol creams in various forms. Do experiment with these until you find one to suit you....
