I don’t know if someone has experienced this symptom on Vagifem but after starting this about 6 weeks ago, I have a feeling of pressure in my anus and the feeling like I need to go all the time. I’m not sure if this has caused this side effect but seems a coincidence.
Only other thing I think it may be is changes to pelvic floor. I don’t really want to stop as urinary symptoms are better.
Really appreciate any advise.

Hormones can cause all kinds of weird sensations, pre-bleed I would feel like my bottom was dropping out :o. Is this cyclical?
MayB see a womens physio for advice, i.e. prolapse?

I’m 61, came off HRT around 18 months ago. Have been ok except for VA, have tried other forms of vaginal oestrogen but didn’t like the discharge they caused and the gel didn’t seem strong enough.
Just this horrible pressure feeling.

Try the search box, there has been posts in the past about weird side effects from Vagifem. Also with the ageing process muscles can also act a bit strange and bring on symptoms that make you think something serious is going on when physiotherapy is the answer.

Liversut01 - how long did U presevere with the VA treatment, sometimes it takes 3-4 months for the vaginal walls to absorb the product which means that there won't be as much 'discharge'. The symptoms R unlikely to resolve without regular application, i.e. every night for 2-3 weeks then 'as necessary'. Some require a nightly insert, others can work a regime with a few nights between each ..........
It depends on how badly symptoms affect U, mayB see a womens physio or GP to find out if you have a prolapse? R U able to describe the feeling of pressure?
