Hello
I’ve been on 4 sprays of Lenzetto for a month and a half after battling with non absorption from patches/oestrogel/Sandrena and have found hot flushes have come back at night, tho any bleeding has now stopped (hurrah) I’m going to try 5 sprays to see if this helps as my consultant appointment isn’t til January - anyone else tried 5 or more?

MayB try an extra spray tonight and C how your body reacts, too much may cause a hike which mayB worse? U could put Lenzetto into the search box and read any threads, make notes ;-). Then let us know how you get on.

Lenzetto is known for being weaker than other transdermal products.
My advice would be don't fear oral estrogen, the difference in thrombotic risk for healthy users is of the order of one extra case per 4000-5000 per year (vinagridova et al) ie not clinically significant.
Not everyone likes, wants or is able to absorb transdermal estrogen and products often influence when you can exercise, wash or swim etc.
I am happy on oral treatment, I like the convenience and reliability.
The mouth was designed to get things in to the body, the skin's actual purpose is to keep things out.
Transdermal drug delivery is a nice theoretical concept but many people simply do not derive the intended benefits from it due to wide individual variability in absorption.

That's what confuses me about HRT delivery via patches as well as those patches/heat pads that are supposed to relief pain: if the skin lets sweat out and stops rain getting in  .........

Similar to Osmosis
In plants too.

Thank you for your replies - last night just had so many hot flushes, I thought extra oestrogen would stop them, I’m also on 200 utrogestan orally a night 😳 may need to see the GP as my Consultant’s appointment is end of February!!
