Despite being treated for 2 urine infections this year I have persistent blood in urine according to test strips I do at home. In June Dr seemed unconcerned that I had persistent blood in urine as if it was to be a new normal for me. I'm on Ovestin cream and disappointed that blood is still in urine for the last 6 months in all. Has anyone else had this?

Yes me all the time but it’s traces and only shows up in tests, dr not worried same as yours, I’ve had all checks, seen urologists etc over 7 years and all is fine, I don’t even worry about it now as the professionals certainly aren’t concerned. Hope that helps a bit.

Yes I have microscopic blood in my urine sometimes, ever since my first UTI. I've been checked though and everything was normal.

Yes same here,9/10 when I get tested there are blood traces,it’s quite common and VA can be the culprit. As long as you always check with your Dr though, I wouldn’t worry too much

Yes me too. I've had visible and microscopic blood for the last 2 years now....had all the investigations and everything was fine.
However even now if I have to take a sample to the surgery and they test it and see microscopic traces it feels like the end of the world the way they react to it...I've just got fed up now and don't take samples anymore unless I really have to

Yes me too, always ‘microscopic haematuria.’ Docs always raise an eyebrow. Had an attractive Italian male doctor squeal in weird surprise once, much to my dismay. Had a cystoscopy and loads of ultrasounds always ok on the bladder front. I think alot of ladies get it, it doesn’t bother me now, it’s always expected, (by me anyway!)

Of course, this could be vaginal atrophy - when the internal tissues are thin they may tear = traces of blood in urine or on wiping.
Perhaps it's time to consider getting some appropriate VA treatment?
