Title: Testosterone for Endo and Menopause
Post by: BlondieLady on September 19, 2025, 03:29:55 PM
Hey lovelies.

I had an emergency hysterectomy in February for endometriosis, and am now just starting out on testosterone ontop of cyclogest (I've been taking cyclogest for over a year.) What can I expect when starting out? I have noticed a small increase in tummy cramps, headaches and muscle aches. I've been on it for nearly a week now. Is this normal?

Hi how has your general recovery been?

:welcomemm:  Who is over seeing your HRT?  It amazes me that still patients aren't given any info following surgical interventions  >:( it's 'refer back to GP' ........

Hopefully some1 will B along with advice.

It has been really difficult. I thought I;d need a month off work, but it actually became 6 months. My GP isn't interested in giving me HRT, so i've been seeing a private doctor at a hormone clinic. I was on 400mg cyclogest before the surgery, but definitely needed estrogen and testosterone in the aftermath x
