Was on Estradot 75 for a number of years and it was great(with 3 x Utrogestan daily) took me years to get it right - then bang, no Estradot!
So I moved to Estraderm 75(headaches), then Oestrogel (bleeding)(3 shots), , but found my symptoms worsening with both so I visited the GP and she has moved me over to Evorel Conti which is just 50mg so she said i may' need 2 patches, but to give it a go with 1, obviously dropping the Utrogestan
As anyone moved from a 75 patch to Evorel Conti, and what was your experience? I am bloody terrified and fed up with the HRT lottery

You've already guessed what's going to happen! Whilst it's possible you'll absorb evorel better than estradot so won't feel the effects it's more likely your oestrogen deficiency symptoms will return. Can you try 1.5 patches as that should be the equivalent dose (many gps won't prescribe this).

Evorel do an estrogen only patch which you could then take your Utrogestan with, would this not be a better option if you got on well with Utrogestan? Better to change just 1 of the hormones rather than both or else you won't know which one is a problem?

I agree this sounds like a lose lose situation - you are being short changed with the estradiol dose and forced onto a synthetic progestin that is not exactly known for it's benevolence and tolerability (although it does provide damn good endometrial protection and many people are happy with it).
