I've see my Dr had scans and they say its the last stages but for last 10 months I have had spotting when I wipe ranging from pink to dark, not every day and sometimes there once but not again later.
I did have what I would call a full period last month so back to counting but what I want to know is has anyone else had it last this long or even longer

Yep. Sorry that U didn't get a response yesterday. My periods waxed and waned, can't remember my age, probably mid-40s ??? The excruciating pains went, periods were regular or disappeared for months B4 returning. At the end of each bleed I would stop for 2 days then have a stain of brown because my hormones weren't strong enough to push the whole period out.
If this is usual for U I wouldn't worry too much, Nature throws in the curved ball meaning that we have to begin counting again ::)
Do U have any other particular bothersome symptoms?

Spotting can be due to low estrogen, inadequate progestogen or vaginal atrophy assuming sinister causes have been ruled out.
Your doctor should be able to tweak your treatment and/orr add vaginal estrogen to get rid of this.
I would also make sure your cervical screening is up to date.
