Hi I am coming off gel and changing to combi tablets as doctor thinks they will work better as I may be a low absorber. As anyone else got on better with the tablets?

I'm not strictly on menopause hormone therapy but I choose to take a combined oral contraceptive pill rather than patches or gel.
This is much more convenient, reliable and for those who have to self fund treatment, affordable.
I have used patches in the past for IVF, they didn't stick well and I didn't like them dictating when I could have a bath or shower.
I personally wouldn't bother with gel at all as it is messy, unreliable, time consuming, expensive and doesn't permit accurate blood monitoring of estradiol levels.
