Hi
The only real symptom I have is sweating and now insomnia because of the HRT. The sweating is rlarely at night but constantly throughout the day. The doctor put me on HRT which was resolving the sweating some but causing numerous other problems. I can’t do HRT no more. What do you take for sweating and insomnia? Any help much appreciated x

Hi. R U able to let us know how old you are, why you felt that U needed to stop HRT? What were your periods doing?
Which regime and 4 how long were you using it?
Some find that using a fan to blow air across the face/body helps for flushes.
Insomnia can be difficult especially as hormone levels rise and fall. Keeping a mood/food/symptom diary will let U know if there is a pattern and 2 chart progress.
:welcomemm: browse round. Make notes ;-). Ask away.

I’m 53. I stopped mainly due to the insomnia. I’ve struggled with that previously and was on prescription meds for years. I managed to wean myself off them and was sleeping good until I started HRT. I’m not going down that path again. I’ve tried 3 different HRT for 3 months each time. My periods were every 2 months and very light before HRT. Now they’re every couple of weeks and horrendous. HET is causing a whole host of other unwanted symptoms when originally I was only suffering with the sweating x
