Hi I’m wondering if anyone on here is on aromatase inhibitors and using blissel  vaginal oestrogen?

Yes me. But I use vagifem and Ovestin.

Hi Nas

I think I have seen on some posts that you are trying Veoza for vasometer symptoms.  I wondered if you would recommend giving it a go?  I've just had to come off HRT and about to start letrozole for ER BC and the night heat is kicking my arse.  Tired of consultants telling me to just see if it settles.  I have a demanding job and am a single mum, I need to be proactive about this so if you are anyone has any advice on this or in fact if sertraline or venlefaxine are better options I desperately need help!

Yes I have trialled Veozah and find it very effective at controlling hot flushes. My issue is the cost. It is only available
 ( I believe ) privately.

I have no experience of sertraline or venlafaxine, but they could help, if you are willing to give them a go.

Best of luck. I find consultants particularly unhelpful when it comes to seeking help to control menopause symptoms after cancer.  The whole “wait and see if things settle” comments are very unhelpful.

If you can afford Veozah, give it a go I say.

Nas thankyou so much for your reply.  Do you know of any negatives of using it for those who have had cancer?  And do you need a private prescription?  I have a private GP consult online tomorrow through my work healthcare so was going to beg a prescription.  I would pay quite a lot of money right now to get through the night undisturbed by being a human furnace!

I can’t think of any negatives Peanut, the only thing the GP might want to do, is a blood test to check liver function. You will more than likely need a private prescription, yes. I think I pay £186 for 3 months supply from Boots.

It is completely non hormonal, so there shouldn’t be an issue from the cancer perspective.

I think for the sake of undisturbed nights, particularly when you work a high stress job, it is a product worth exploring.

Nas - overall if that works, it doesn't seem particularly expensive. 

[I paid a tenner for omeprazolol OTC recently when I had left my packet at home, crikey!]
