Hi all,
Ive posted lots lately, thought I was picking up but really need some support at the moment.
I came over so dizzy suddenly 2 hours ago, felt like I might pass out but didn't.
Now Im having what I assume is a panic attack. Shaking, sweaty, upset.
Does anyone else get dizziness like that? Its debilitating, I would t go anywhere like this.
Sorry, I just need some support :'(

Hi...I'm so sorry you are feeling this way..it does sound like an anxiety/panick attack...lots of us suffer the same fate here? So we understand how it feels..
I this your first experience???
Did something trigger it or just out of the blue??.

I haven't had a big one like this before, the trigger was i felt really dizzy like I would pass out.
The panic attack was terrifying, felt so physically ill.

Panic attacks are scary, I get them, they tend to come in spates.
My first ever one felt like I was going to pass out, light headed and dizzy like yours. Sweaty palpitations etc.
I had counselling years back where I was told to remember basically that a panic attack is not going to kill you.
Do breathing (look online for exercises) These really helped me as the dizziness was caused by short depth hyperventilating breaths.
I really feel for you, sorry you are experiencing this, they can feel very scary...

I've only big one where I thought it was dying other wise I have anxiety attacks that last weeks...panick attacks can be terrifying....
As clove mentioned although scary it will not hurt you and it maybe the only time you have one...just breath and try to not dwell on it hard as it is....the big one I had was in 2019 and I havnt had one since, just anxiety attacks with hyperventilation....but with the right tools you can cope with it better...
Your not alone

Don’t assume it’s a panic attack, it could be oestrogen surges causing migraine/neurological blood flow issues, they made me very dizzy in peri (also had the most debilitating nausea) and I called an ambulance as so bad on one occasion. After I would be left shaking with cold sweats - which, interestingly also happened following my first Covid jab.
Something simple you could try, that probably only helped after the jab (so never got to try it in peri), was to take paracetamol as a sudden temperature spikes was the cause with the jab.
The way to know if it’s a panic attack is if breathing in and out only through your nose, with mouth shut helps, and also if you know it was thought driven. Mine would happen in the middle of watching TV when was happy as Larry!

Its very confusing.
I think the dizziness is caused by hormones which then led to a panic attack or something disguised a panic attack.
I wasnt stressed at all, other than the dizziness panicking me i suppose. But yes there is definitely a rise in how hot I feel when it happens.
