Hello,
I just to ask if it is normal to have discharge after removal of a mirena. The Mirena was removed 6 August. I did expect some discharge as essentially something has been dragged out after having it in for 3 years approx. The discharge looked a little bit like skin and blood. Now it seems a bit watery and discoloured. Is it sensible to wait a few weeks. I have some waves of fatigue but not sure if thats the removal or the micronised progesterone - vaginally. I started the progesterone about four days ago. thank you just wondering what it was like for others ladies having it removed when its been a few years as presumably the tissues will wrap around it? I had it removed because I had felt very anxious and tired all the time. the wave of fatigue is new. This menopause journey is so complex. I also use imvaggis pessaries inernally, in the morning and blissel externally three times a week so Im not putting meds in together. thank you.

also, when I had the mirena in I was having lots of vaginal white discharge which was assumed thrush but the labs couldnt grow it however, it seemed to be making me sore despite being on the pessary for dry skin
