Title: HRT start up mood swings

Morning.

Can estrogen cause massive mood swings - rage, anger, low, depressed, teary. And endless agitation.

Or is if always the progesterone - and, in this case, the well known for it, norethisterone (because I'm on evorel conti)

I'm only on 1/4 patch of evorel conti. So 12.5mcg for 3 weeks. But the mood swings are awful. So I'm trying to fathom out if it's defo the progestin. Or possibly not.
