I did get morning nausea during peri but it wasn't too bad and it did wear off in the end.

Nausea was one of my worst symptoms in peri and post menopause.

Dotty,
Do you still have it?
What if anything helps?

The right dose of hrt stopped the horrific nausea I suffered from.

Hello Mummytron

I had nausea at age fifty four, just as I was becoming post meno. I remember complaining to a GP friend of mine and she said it was a common occurrence.
I honestly can't remember how long it lasted but it did resolve and has never returned.

I hope this helps you in some way and I do sympathise.

Wishing you well and sending hugs.

K.

Thanks Kathleen,
I'm almost 50 and hardly any periods now so I'm hoping I near post menopause!

I'm 57 and 12 years post menopausal and just had 4 months of nausea pretty much every day. Never had it at any other point and thankfully it has stopped....hopefully for good 🤞

Sorry to hear that,
Mine been 2 weeks and that's enough.
I tend to over think things so always assuming the worst but every single one of my new symptoms has been down to hormones.

The doctor has prescribed cyclizine for the nausea and dizziness so fingers crossed it helps soon!

No I'm not,
I tried it last year and really didn't tolerate it so reluctant to try again.

Update,
I had loads of blood tests this week and they've all come back ok so thats a good thing right?
I need to give myself more time to recover i think. I have referred myself for cbt for my anxiety so thats good.

Yes me too, I’m 65 and nausea has been here and there since being post menopausal.  Just one of those annoying things unfortunately.   :)
