Hi everyone, I'm new to the site as have been doing some research and come across it. Your experiences/thoughts would be great to hear.
Last couple of months have been very strange and hard to get through. Started with pain in my right arm. No reason for it, just started, went drs after it not going, thought it might be rsi, feasible! Well irrational anxiety kicked in, got in control of it to a degree, arm pain became sparodic, some days not there! OMG then the insomnia hit, seriously, no sleep for 5 days out of 6, talk about walking zombie. Found a dr that gave me a sleeping pill that worked and set me on the road of hrt, I'm 51 still have periods like clockwork so been put on cyclical, 2 weeks in, insomnia has improved as getting some sleep but not great, ill take it over none. Had my first night of micronised progesterone last night, blimey nearly as efficient as the sleeping pill, but today done some more physical tasks and oh my god feel 100 years old with fatigue and muscle weakness. Im really hoping there is light at the end of the tunnel as I just want to get back to me!

I would stick to the utro long enough to see if it settles. if you're still bad you try taking it earlier and/or vaginally, if that doesn't help then try a different progestogen.

:welcomemm: as oestrogen levels drop the body may become dry: inside and out as well as muscles may become lax = aches and pains.
Fatigue is usual with perimenopause. How were U during your menstruating years?
It's The Change - we have to adapt as our bodies gradually slow down with aging. Keeping active and lots of 'me' time are important ;-)
Some find that keeping a mood/food/symptom diary of use.

I've been lucky compared to a lot of ladies, I haven't particularly suffered with my menstrual cycles, they happened with little symptoms.
