Title: Soreness after hysteroscopy
Post by: Borchesterlass on June 14, 2025, 05:05:26 PM
I was very brave and the hysteriscopy under LA was bearable . It was five days ago and the bleeding /discharge has stopped . However I am so very sore inside . I’m guessing it’s because I have quite bad atrophy and this procedure has aggravated it . Any one else experience this and what did you do ? I’m sure everything is bruised and inflamed . I am still taking the vagifem . The procedure was for a slight increase in the thickness of my womb lining. The consultant says everything looks ok but still to wait  for histology.

'taking' the Vagifem or inserting it into the vagina?  How often?  KY Jelly eased into the sore areas might help too, about an hour B4 inserting the VA treatment?

Does the soreness stop you inserting the Vagifem, mayB if so put it in gently as far as is comfy?

Did you insert vagifem after the procedure? If so it may have aggravated it.

I did the next day
Glad you're feeling better. I was advised not to insert anything for at least a couple of days so as not to risk infection
