After having a hystoscope in March i phone the gp too follow up the letter from gyn, re following hrt protocol and discussing extra progesterone . I have been on Everol Conti for over 2 years now and have had 2 spates of unscheduled bleeding and 2 hystoscope and biopsies, ( the first letter he gp ignored and i stupidly did not follow up)
The gp advise is to wait and see if i bleed again before adding more progesterone, (as the patch has some ) I explained this is the second time it has happened and if i bleed again i will surely have to be referred back to the urgent possible cancer rule out route of another hystoscope and biopsies
I feel like i am on a hamster wheel.
I think with the past experience I will bleed again in around 14 months.
What would other people do

This seems to be a recurring theme with evorel conti!
I have had very similar but I only use half a patch as a full patch caused bleeding. I now feel that maybe I need to increase this to a full patch as a recent blood test showed low oestrogen (although I have not been contacted by the GP I came across it on my patient app)
I also do t want to be put back on the 2JE as it has only been 4 wks since the last episode! I think I will increase the patch and then ask for another blood test.

MayB put your HRT regime: separately : into the search box to read threads. Make notes ;-)

I would see a different gp, usually they're keen to give you too much progestogen. You could change to an oestrogen only patch with a separate progestogen, usually utrogestan. I agree with you, it's happened twice so you could reasonably expect the same thing to happen again

My GP ordered it when I had the first lot of bleeding - I had a full blood count, thyroid, diabetes, I think she ticked every box on the blood form! ;D it’s worth asking.

Thankyou will ask, I have had thyroid, and few vits, and basic liver function etc but never any hormome @tropical moments

Hiya,
have you considered Mirena and gel or patch?
I had recurrant bleeding on gel and utrogestan, and quite bad side effects with the utrogestan. Mirena has been a game changer. No more bleeding/spotting etc.
