I would try a different formulation such as patches or tablets if gel hasn't suited - you really don't know how much if any you have been absorbing.

Also if you don't feel any different on treatment but it isn't actively making you feel worse, it is still worth continuing treatment to avoid the long term health consequences of hypoestrogenism.

I am also clinically estrogen blind, I know from IVF that I cannot tell the difference between being essentially menopausal and having first trimester levels of estrogen, and choose to take hormone therapy predominantly for bone and cardiometabolic health.

What progestogen do you use and is it sequi or conti? It can be the progestogen that's the problem.

Hi..I have a coil fitted so localised progesterone...
I tried hrt mai lt for anxiety which became much worse as peri kicked in...but also had vertigo and periods were getting lighter and erratic...
I obviously don't have periods at all now due to coil so not sure where I am in this regard..the vertigo is something hopefully that will not return.  :-\
